Our British guests, Vicki and Russell, waited patiently for the re-opening of Sabah’s iconic national landmark Mount Kinabalu, and finally it’s open again…and they decided to try the ‘via Ferrata teaser’ too!
The couple arrived well in time for the 4PM safety briefing for the via Ferrata mountain climbing activity, and were already having an awesome time just practising the use of the ropes, cables and carabiners!
The ‘via Ferrata teaser’ is named so because it’s a 50-metre route to offer the experience of the activity, until the Walk the Torq and the Lows Peak circuits are in operation once more in future!
As part of our Expedition Borneo program, travelling groups from overseas will also get to experience the activity in a standard 2D1N climb to Laban Rata plateau!
Contact us, at our Sabah Travel Centre for more details on our programs to climb the re-opened Mount Kinabalu!
