Our 2 days 1 night Mt Kinabalu Cheap & Cheerful – No Frills package is for budget & backpacker travellers ! This mountain climbing package offers ease of travel & travel arrangement and the basic necessities that you need to have a rest, before a very early start to continue your climb with renewed energy to reach the Low’s Peak summit in time to watch the sunrise over the Crocker Range!
Note: As of 1st December 2015 the government authority are only issuing climbing permits for this package to Malaysian IC Holders.
No meals are included in this package, however basic facilities (kettle, cutlery) are provided in the dormitory, so you are advised to arrange your own meals (dry food & cup noodles work well). In addition Laban Rata Restaurant is only 2 minutes walk from your Basic Hut dormitory accommodation, if you would like any hot meals you can order from their menu and pay on the spot.
Via Ferrata activities can be added to this package so if you are feeling adventurous let us know at the time of booking !
Not included: Meals are paid directly at the Laban Rata Restaurant. Order according to choice – either ala-carte or full meals.
Bath towels are not provided.

Please be advised that all climbers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any mountain climb. If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommend that you should refrain from climbing: Hypertension, Diabetes, Palpitation, Arthritis, Heart Disease, Severe Anemia, Peptic Ulcers, Epileptic Fits, Obesity, Chronic Asthma, Muscular cramps, Hepatitis (jaundice); or any other disease which may hamper the climb.
